Namalvar vs Perumal

An interesting debate between the Lord and Namalvar. In one of the pasurams, Namalvar says that he's greater than the Lord. Lord politely, and with a smile asks Namalvar the reason for saying so. Namalvar gives a clear and acceptable clarification. It goes like this. "O Lord You are the reason for all creations, sustainment, and annihilation of all universes. In You everything is there. In other words, You hold the rope of every living and non-living entities. You are the controller, You bear anything and everything,  but I bear You in my heart. Though You bear all universes and all your creations, it's me who bear You in my heart. Hence, I'm greater than you." This moved the Lord and made him to accept it.. Yes, Lord, who is the cause for all creations, lives in the heart of Baktha [meaning devotee].

Ayonijargal

Meeting of Mudhal Alwars:
Poigal Alwar, Poothathalvar, and Peialwar are called as 'Ayonijargal [அயோநிஜர்கள்]' meaning they were not born from the womb of a mother. They were born from flowers.

Lord Narayana wished to play his leelas[drama/pasttime] with his devotees. HE created a situation to be with Mudhal Alwars.
Thirukovilur is a place near chennai where Perumal [or Vishnu or Narayan] can be seen with disc on his left hand and the conch on his right hand [normally it would be the other way] and with Brahma [the creator of universe] and Perumal's counter parts.
There was an Ashram [cottage for renounced people] of Mriganda Maharishi which was very small where only one person can lye down, 2 persons can sit, and 3 can stand. That day, it was raining heavily. Poigai alwar first entered into the ashram to take shelter from rain. It was completely dark inside the ashram. In a few minutes, pei alwar entered the ashram. Both the alwars who have not met before wished each other and sat inside the cottage. For sometime, these two alwars were together and there was someone trying to enter the ashram. It was Boodat Alwar. Now all the three were standing to keep off from heavy rain. It was completely dark. Though the place of the cottage was enough for exactly 3 of them, they felt that there was one more entrant into the ashram who was not visible for them. The feel of the 4th person was very pleasant though the space was insufficient. The alwars wanted to find who that 4th entrant was. The first Divya Prabhandam song came up... contd
